So, basically it does everything that my typical truck can do except it goes a whole lot farther per gallon and when I say a whole lot farther, I mean a whole lot farther. My other truck in the city gets around 9 miles per gallon and 12 per Highway miles. When I have Four Wheel drive on it gets about 6 or 7 miles per gallon. My new GMC Sierra Hybrid gets roughly 21 miles per gallon city and 23 on the highway. Even when I have four wheel drive on I am getting roughly 18 miles per gallon. You are looking at roughly 10 miles per gallon more with my GMC Sierra Hybrid truck then my other truck. With gas as high as it is, the GMC Sierra Hybrid will probably save me anywhere between 1500 to 2000 dollars a year.

It has the Power, the look, and it is fuel economy. I don’t like to go around and tell people you need to buy hybrid because we can save the earth because I don’t know if I believe in all this global warming crap, but when you compare a Hybrid truck to a regular truck, they are almost identical in Power and Pay load.  So why not buy the Hybrid, just in case global warming is happening and you might as well save yourself some money while you are at it.
